Overview

The 63CNC pipe bending machine is a CNC pipe bender covering tube up to Φ63.5 × 2.5 mm — two and a half inches — on a 3000 mm mandrel with a 250 mm maximum bend radius. Servo bend, feed and rotation, hydraulic clamping and a hydraulic moving mandrel.

This is the size where copper and thin-wall stainless start to appear in the job mix, and both need the mandrel and wiper dies fitted correctly rather than approximately. Three-stack tooling carries three radii at once, so multi-radius parts stay in one setup.

Pipe Bending Machine 63CNC — Common Questions

Φ63.5 × 2.5 mm carbon steel, maximum bend radius 250 mm, 3000 mm mandrel length, 1.8 tonne machine weight.

Bend radius is set by the die-mounting geometry rather than the drive, so adjacent models often share a figure. What separates the 63CNC from the 50CNC is the tube it can hold and the force it can apply, not how large a curve it can wrap.

Semi-unattended, with the operator loading each tube. Fully unattended running needs an automatic loader, which is available as an option and turns the machine into a production cell rather than a stand-alone bender.

A moving mandrel supports the bore while the bend forms, and a wiper die controls metal flow on the inside radius. Both are matched to the tube and the centre-line radius; on generous radii with adequate wall neither may be needed.

±0.1° on bend angle, ±0.1 mm on feed length and ±0.1° on rotation, held from the first part to the last. On CNC machines the variation that matters is usually tooling wear and material batch, not the control.
