With a bevel tool head the same machine doubles as a pipe beveling machine for weld-ready angled ends.

A chamfering machine squares, bevels and deburrs the pipe end so it is ready to weld, assemble or feed into the next process. The tube is clamped, the tool head advances in two stages, and the same cycle repeats part after part with a consistent, burr-free finish. Fit an interchangeable bevel tool head and set the angle, and the same unit works as a pipe beveling machine that opens a true welding bevel — around 30° or 37.5° to a weld standard — instead of only a light chamfer.

Thicker walls need more cutting force. Heavier or thick-wall pipe points to the hydraulic 180, while thin-wall tube runs well on the pneumatic 50 or 80.

Yes. Chamfering and beveling are the same process at different depths: a chamfer is a light 45° edge break, while a weld bevel is a deeper angled cut (30°, 37.5° and similar) that opens the joint for a full-penetration weld. Fit the matching bevel tool head and the machine runs as a pipe beveling machine. Tell us your bevel angle and wall thickness and we will confirm the tooling.
