A competition roll cage or safety structure is one continuous story of bends — main hoops, A-pillars, door bars and gussets — that must be symmetrical left to right and dimensionally repeatable so the finished cage drops onto the chassis. Telhoo bends this work on mandrel-equipped CNC benders that store the full multi-bend program, so the tenth cage matches the first.
Structural tube such as DOM and 4130 chrome-moly work-hardens and springs back more than mild steel, and tight centre-line radii tend to flatten on the outside and wrinkle on the inside. A moving mandrel supports the bore through the bend while a wiper die controls the inside radius, keeping the section round and the wall consistent — critical where the tube is a load path, not decoration.
