All models use a two-station design with forming and clamping both hydraulically controlled. Working speed varies with pipe size, wall thickness and end shape, so confirm the final tooling for your part with our engineers before ordering.
End forming reshapes the last few centimeters of a tube so it fits, seals or joins the next part. The tube is clamped, a hydraulic ram drives a shaped die onto the end, and the metal takes the die’s form — expanded, reduced or flared. Multi-station tooling runs several of these steps in sequence.
