Overview

The SG80-2 tube end forming machine is a two-station hydraulic unit taking fittings up to Φ80 × 2.0 mm, with a 200 mm working stroke at 14 MPa and a 130 mm pass in 5 to 6 seconds. 1800 kg on a 260 × 75 × 145 cm footprint.

The 200 mm stroke is what separates this model and the SG120-2 from the smaller two, which stop at 120 mm. Stroke decides how far back from the tube end the formed section can sit — on exhaust assemblies and air-conditioning lines the feature is often well inside the tube, and that is a stroke question rather than a diameter one.

It is one of the main uses. Exhaust systems need reduced and expanded ends so sections slip together before clamping or welding, and the long stroke handles features set back from the tube end. Typical exhaust tube diameters fall inside this machine's range.

The rating assumes 2.0 mm. Heavier wall needs more force for the same diameter and may exceed what the machine delivers at 14 MPa, or may form but with unacceptable springback. Send the actual wall with the diameter and we confirm rather than assume.

Station count is part of the machine configuration rather than a bolt-on, so it is decided at order. Tell us the full forming sequence your part needs — including steps you expect to add — and we specify the station count accordingly.
