Overview
The SG120-2 tube end forming machine is the largest hydraulic end former in the Telhoo SG range. It takes fittings up to Φ110 × 2.0 mm on a 200 mm working stroke at 14 MPa, and weighs 2500 kg — around three times the SG40-2, because end forming force has to be reacted by the frame rather than absorbed by it.
Expanding, reducing, flaring, beading: which operation you get is set by the die, not by the machine. Two stations let you run two of them in one handling, so a tube that needs reducing and then flaring comes off finished instead of moving to a second setup.
Stroke is what you are buying
The 200 mm working stroke is what separates this model and the SG80-2 from the smaller machines, which stop at 120 mm. Stroke decides how far back from the tube end the formed section can sit. On exhaust assemblies, air-conditioning lines and hydraulic manifolds the feature is often well inside the tube rather than right at the lip — and that is a stroke problem, not a diameter problem.
One pass runs 140 mm in 8–9 seconds. Slower than the smaller SG models by design: longer stroke, heavier section, more metal to move.
Tooling and materials
Standard tooling is Cr12. Die sets are made to your drawing and the forming route is confirmed against your part before the machine is built. Mild steel, stainless, copper and aluminium, in round, square or rectangular section.
