Overview
The 80 pneumatic pipe chamfering machine is a single-head unit covering pipe and bar from Φ10 to Φ80 mm — the larger of the two air-driven models, and the one that suits pipe spool and structural work where sections run past Φ50 mm.
It chamfers and deburrs the inner edge, the outer edge and the end face in one cycle, leaving a face ready for weld preparation, threading or assembly.
What the higher spindle speed is for
This machine runs 1200 / 1600 rpm against the 800 / 1600 rpm on the 50. The higher low-gear exists because cutting speed at the tool edge rises with diameter — a Φ80 mm pipe presents far more surface per revolution than a Φ20 mm one, so the spindle has to turn faster to keep the chip load sensible across the range. Run large pipe too slowly and the finish suffers; run small pipe too fast and the tool pays for it.
Same frame, more capacity
The 80 shares its frame, 2 HP motor and Φ12–80 mm cutterhead range with the 50 — same 870 × 690 mm footprint, same 260 kg. You are buying capacity and spindle gearing, not a bigger machine, which is why it fits the same bench space and the same air supply at 6–8 kg/cm².
Beyond Φ80 mm, or on thick wall and harder material where air pressure stops delivering steady force, the hydraulic 180 takes over.
Steel, iron, stainless, aluminium, bronze and other non-ferrous metals, plus plastics and graphite fibre with the matching cutterhead.
