Overview
The 50 pneumatic pipe chamfering machine is a single-head unit for pipe and bar from Φ8 to Φ50 mm. Air drives the feed and the clamp, which keeps the machine compact and the cycle short — this is the model for thin-wall tube and high piece counts rather than heavy section.
It chamfers and deburrs the inner edge, the outer edge and the end face. The cut comes off clean enough to weld or thread without a second operation, which is the whole point: hand-filing a batch of tube ends is slow, inconsistent, and hard on the operator.
The two-step feed
The head approaches fast, then switches to an adjustable finishing feed for the last part of the cut. Those two rates do different jobs. The fast approach is dead time you want to minimise; the slow finish is what sets chamfer depth and surface quality. Because the finishing feed is set on the machine rather than judged by hand, part 200 has the same chamfer as part 1.
50 or 80?
The two pneumatic models share the same frame, the same 2 HP motor and the same Φ12–80 mm cutterhead range. What differs is pipe capacity and spindle gearing: this machine runs 800 / 1600 rpm for work up to Φ50 mm, while the 80 runs 1200 / 1600 rpm and takes pipe to Φ80 mm. If your pipe never exceeds Φ50 mm, the lower speed pair gives you more torque where you need it.
Steel, iron, stainless, aluminium, bronze and other non-ferrous metals, plus plastics and graphite fibre with the matching cutterhead.
